The polo series explores the intersection of power, precision, and movement. Rather than depicting the sport as a literal event, these works focus on its rhythm, energy, and fleeting moments of balance between horse and rider.

Working with expressive mark-making and layered compositions, I seek to convey the intensity of motion while preserving the elegance and discipline that define polo. The horse is presented not simply as a subject, but as an equal force within the composition—its strength, intelligence, and momentum inseparable from that of the rider.

Although my broader practice spans painting, sculpture, and installation, the equestrian works represent a focused exploration of movement and form through a contemporary lens. They are intended to resonate with both those who know the sport intimately and those who are drawn to its visual power and timeless relationship between human and horse.
