Anthony Valentino Robinson is a contemporary animal artist from Ohio, United States, who specializes in equine art. He studied at The Cleveland Institute of Art and The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Anthony loves to express his admiration for horses through his expressive, painterly brushwork, while drawing inspiration from the timeless qualities of old masters such as Velazquez, Van Dyke, Sir Thomas Lawrence, Alfred De Dreux and John Singer Sargent.
Anthony spent a long time visiting horse stables and equine gatherings, engaging in conversations with knowledgeable horse people. The psychological and physical essence of the horse evolved through his art as he continued to create paintings and portraits of his favorite animal. One of his favorite horse breeds is the Arabian horse, known for its spiritedness, elegance, and beauty.
