Tiziana Dominguez (Spain, 1985) is a multidisciplinary artist living between Spain and Portugal. With a background in Art and Design, she studied at Leeds College of Art & Design (Leeds, UK) and Parsons School of Design (New York, US). For more than a decade she was the creative director of the fashion Spanish brand Adolfo Dominguez, to which she imported her interdisciplinary background, combining fashion with painting, drawing, photography, video and dance.
Since 2023, Tiziana has concentrated her artistic practice on her passion for horses, using painting as her primary medium. She has been exhibitin regularly since 2011, both individually and collectively. Her work is part of private collections in Spain, Portugal, and the United States.
“From a young age, I find myself drawn to horses. When I am with them, time stands still and the world fades out.” (TD)
Tiziana’s creative process is, above all, a process of connection. In an intuitive and unrestricted manner, it examines the boundaries and flexibility of matter, connecting with a much deeper emotional nature. Her works result from a through process of material research.
Experimenting with various organic and synthetic materials, results in surrendering control of the artwork to the unpredictability of the material interactions. In the negotiated pact between figuration and abstraction that identifies her works, we feel a deep connection between matter and should.
We are encouraged to explore the raw and textured intimacy of a dialogue that develops in the symbiosis between humans and animals.

I’d be truly happy to create a painting of your horse! We’ll begin with an online meeting to talk about the size, technique, color palette, and overall vision for the piece. After that, I’ll ask you to send me the most representative photos and videos of your horse so I can start sketching the composition and working out the color scheme.
Throughout the process, I’ll keep you updated and share my progress to make sure we’re aligned—and so you can see your painting come to life, step by step.
Timelines may vary depending on my current workload, but the piece should be ready within two months.
