Meet the new artist - Tiziana Dominguez (Portugal)

Tiziana Dominguez (Spain, 1985) is a multidisciplinary artist living between Spain and Portugal. With a background in Art and Design, she studied at Leeds College of Art & Design (Leeds, UK) and Parsons School of Design (New York, US). For more than a decade she was the creative director of the fashion Spanish brand Adolfo Dominguez, to which she imported her interdisciplinary background, combining fashion with painting, drawing, photography, video and dance.

The art exhibition ANIMA by artist Tiziana Dominguez opens in Jerez, Spain, on 15th May 2025 and will be on view to the public until 5th June. Promoted by the prestigious Fundación Cajasol and the Cámara de Comercio of Jerez, the exhibition marks the opening of the city’s most important social and cultural event—the Feria del Caballo.

Known as the “city of the horse” and the birthplace of the world-famous Spanish horse, Jerez welcomes Dominguez’s equestrian artworks, which feature richly textural and experimental techniques. Her paintings explore the tension between the organic and the synthetic, as pigments, sand, coffee, and shellac interact with man-made materials in unexpected ways.

Once again, the artist invites us into her creative universe—one that deepens our perception of the horse in an attempt to capture its anima, its soul.
