Meet the new artist - Shaun Burgess (UK)

Shaun Burgess is a British oil painter based in Suffolk. His work combines close observation with controlled abstraction, using broken edges, restrained marks and atmospheric colour to  convey character, movement and presence. Arabian horses are central to his practice, while his wider work encompasses portraiture, military subjects and  commemorative commissions.
