New collaboration with Casa Lucia Hotel (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

At Horse Polo Art Gallery, we are pleased to announce a new and meaningful collaboration with the prestigious Casa Lucía Hotel, located in one of the most elegant and sophisticated corners of downtown Buenos Aires. This architectural gem, inspired by the splendor of Paris, has become part of the exclusive Meliá Collection as of this year, and now opens its doors to a dialogue between art, peace and beauty.

Horse Polo Art Gallery is dedicated to promoting contemporary equestrian art from around the world. We work with artists from Europe and the United States, building bridges between creators, art collectors, and horse lovers on a global scale. Our focus celebrates both the strength and elegance of the horse and the human sensitivity artists manage to express through their work.

In this spirit, we are proud to present the work of Ignacio Videla, an Argentine sculptor known for his majestic representations of Arabian horses. On this occasion, Videla surprises us with a new series dedicated to humanity, in which, through his modern realist style, he conveys deep emotion through the modeling of hands.

"The hands. It's an idea I've been developing for many years. The challenge of working in clay to immortalize in bronze different positions of hands and arms - joined or intertwined - awakened in me a curiosity to observe them deeply. Hands express far more than any other part of the human body. I've always been drawn to the work of Auguste Rodin. The Cathedral.

In my realistic and modern style, I focus on creating wrinkles, folds, tendons, and veins that define infinite stories and realities. I'm currently developing a series of nine different hands, which will be exhibited in New York in 2026. This piece, Wisdom, is one of the most challenging for me: Aged hands of an Indigenous woman. Wrinkled. Weathered. Wise.
Resting on an old cane. Waiting for their moment."
