Horse portraits
Equine portraits have been an important part of many styles of art throughout time and culture. The horse represents the vigorous spirit and a driving force in life. This week we present to you a small collection of horse portraits by our artists from different countries.

"CHOCOLATE". Oil on canvas. Dimensions: 100 x 100 cm
Inspired by a equestrian photography by Mark Beaumont, "Chocolate" conveys to me that elegance and strength can coexist in one being.
Rafael Lago
"Golden" is a rare Tennessee walker, of a friend, that enchants people with its fine hair, that almost seems to glow in sunlight.
Anna Cher
"UNLEASHED". Acrylic on canvas. Dimensions: 100 x 100 x 4 cm (unframed)
When you are free from the boundaries of the rules, the experience behind you is the essence of your strength and power. The real taste of freedom can only be appreciated by your experience and wisdom, they make you truly unleashed.
Alexey Klimenko
"ANTICIPATION". Oil on canvas. Dimensions: 65 x 46 cm
Observing horses during polo games, I am getting confident that they do not just obey the players, but just like the players get great pleasure from the process itself too. This leads to the idea that polo ponies are also looking forward to the next matches or training, even while in the stall. In anticipation of pleasure, the whole appearance of a horse expresses concentration and impatience, and the attentive gaze of huge eyes seems to say - well, come on, where are you there, let’s have some fun!

"DIMAGICO". Oil on Canvas. Dimensions: 80 x 100 cm.
When I saw Dimagico, such a beautiful Hanoverian stallion must be captured. He is celebrated due to his successful career, strength, elegance and beauty.
Hartmut Hellner
(Germany)
"DONNERHALL". Acrylic on canvas. Dimensions: 145 x 145 cm.
Probably the most famous stallion of all time and most successful hereditary ever. Even today, many dressage horses at the Olympic Games are descendants of Donnerhall.
