Ignacio videla

Argentina

Ignacio Videla is an Argentinean sculptor whose art reflects his long-life passion for horses. He blended his sculpting skills with many years of horse jumping experience bringing about a perfect marriage of his two passions.

He always lived surrounded by horses.

His deep love for sculptures has inspired him to model horses from Clay. Clay which turns into wax to capture every detail. And finally bronze which gives everlasting life to the wild elegance of his art.

Regarded as one of the most talented contemporary sculptors in the world, his works are exhibited in several Polo Clubs, and are part of private collections in Argentina and abroad.
For more than 15 years, (1985-2002) he attended classes with Debora Cardaci, who became his master for that period.

He has been working for more than 20 years with Buchhass Foundry in Argentina and Spain.
